Hi, I am Wurzl, the Waldhof gnome!
My children's hotel Waldhof is situated in a quiet solitary location at the village boundary of Grossarl.

In summer:

Three times a week, TUFFI, our big tractor, takes you up to the mountains for hiking trips. 40 alpine chalets serving homemade food are ready to be discovered.Also our ponies join in on a hiking tour quite often! Maybe TUFFI takes us up to the chalet to enjoy a barbecue, to go climbing, spend the night in the chalet,.... You can certainly riding our two icelandic ponies on the covered riding site
NEW OFFER in May 2010: You will find a 4500 m² big adventure-playground in front of the hotel!

 
In winter:

The skiing area is only about 800m from the hotel. In the morning you can hop on TUFFI to the reach the slopes and at noon he is waiting to take the kids back from the skiing lessons, while everyone else dashes down the slope right to the hotel in the afternoon. And all non-skiers? Winter hiking trails, toboggan runs, snowshoe hiking ... There's something suitable for everyone!


What the hotel offers for you:

Accommodation:
For families we offer large studios. Complete packages for babies are of course included!

Meals:
¾ pension with delicious breakfast buffet, Wurzl's snacks at noon and in the afternoon, children's lunch together with our nannies and a 5-course dinner with a choice of set meals.

Wellness:
Our relax and spa area with three saunas, steam bath, relax pool, massage treatments, tanning beds, relaxing hot tub has been awarded a lily by the Relax Guide.

Kids' Adventure Pool:
The pool is designed like a pirate ship and equipped with water slide, separate baby pool with fountains and slide, as well as kids' sauna.

Nannies:
3-4 nannies are waiting for you with an extensive programme, during winter season from Sunday to Friday between  9.00 a.m. and 08.30 p.m. and during summer season from 09.00 a.m. to 12.00 and from 04.00 p.m. to 08.30 p.m.

6 kids' playrooms:
Our nannies in the Wurzl Kids' Club have lots of ideas to kill boredom! The creative workshop offers facilities for crafting or doing woodworks with hammer and saw. In the gym you show Dad how to kick it like Beckham or watch a film, while there is lots of action in the family playroom with ball pit, climbing wall and Bobby cars. Fancy a match of table tennis or table football? Or try our computer games until your fingertips are sore!
